Three Times a Lady (Lionel Richie)

I wanted to see you, this morning.
I sat on the exact same place like the first time we met,
or the first time I saw you across the table, even you hadn't look at me back.

I put my lipstick on, as red as drowning blood.
I wear my vintage and fancy clothes with a thin head band along with a white flower to amaze you.
I look a lot like a sweet girl, while yesterday I was a sloppy one.
A fedora and a headband, I love how that sounds in my head.

Clock's ticking but you weren't there.
You let my earl grey became bitter.
It seems like the universe didn't want us to meet each other, yet.

P.S: For zine collaboration with Adrea Kristatiani
