"You mean.. dream dream?"
"Yeah, something that you really wanted to happen in your life. Something that needed to be done before you die. Something that... define who you are. What is it?"
"Uhm... That's a tough question... Uhm.. Let me think.."
"Okay, take your time."
"Alright, there are so many things I really want to do before I die, obviously..."
"Just one."
"What? I have a lot of things going on through my mind right now. I don't get enough with just one.."
"Just one. Thank you."
(glared) "Ugh! Fine. I want to... travel around the world before I die. England, Greece, Russia..."
"Russia is at war. You don't want to get yourself killed."
"It should be done 5 years from now. No one like to be at war for a long time."
"Yeah right. Say that to the World War II's soldiers. It occured for 6 years. From 1 September 1939 to 2 September 1945. Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini. They really made a good story back then."
"Good story, my ass! What's wrong with you. Many innocent people killed just to prove what? Victory? Land? You forgot about The Holocaust?"
"Woo, okay. Easy there, tiger. I said it made a good story but not a good history. See? Calm down. It's not like I approved what they did back then."
"But, still. You're a psycho."
(smirked) "Correction. Your psycho."
(hit his left arm) "Stop it. You sound so cheesy."
"You haven't answered my question."
"I have. Travelling around the world. That's my dream."
"No. That's everybody's dream. I asked about your deepest dream. Go on. I'll let you think."
"Why couldn't you just agree with everything I said?" (continue thinking)
"I agree.. to disagree with you."
(ignoring his utterances) "I want to... make a book. No! Not just a book, but a bestseller book. That's my deepest dream."
"Interesting. Why?"
"Because I want people to read what's on my mind."
"You expect them to be your mind-reader?"
"No. Not like that. It's more like I feel 'readable' when I'm writing something. You know what I mean? I mean, talking is not my specialty. I got nervous and sometimes when it goes worse, I sttutered. And, still.. people don't get what I said. Isn't it ironic? I want people to know what I meant but I couldn't do the talking."
"Yeah. It's just sad."
"Yeah.. I know right?" (exhaled)
"So just that? That's why you want to write a bestseller book? Just so people can 'read' you?
"Nope. I want them to criticize me too."
"It's a bestseller book, you said. Why would people want to criticize a bestseller book?"
"It's a bestseller book, but not a perfect book. I would like to read their review about my book. They can put it on the blog or Facebook, maybe Twitter. I want to know how it feels to have something and change people's lives. By writing a book, I guess?
"Like J.K Rowling and her Harry Potter series? Mitch Albom and his melancholy stories series?"
"Yap. Just like that. But it's not easy, I know. I'm not a good writer. Sometimes I got stuck and stop writing. I hate that when it happens. You know, it feels like you have million words inside your head but you can't let it out. The words inside my head are my demons, so if I coudn't let them out, they will start to do some evil things."
"Do they eat your brain?"
"Ha ha funny."
"It's never easy."
"What? Your joke?"
"To have dream and make it happen, it's never easy."
"Yeah, I know. It doesn't even take a 'genius' like you to tell me that thing."
(laughed) "You don't have to be so sarcastic. But I like your dream. You always surprised me. I like that." (smiled)
"Yeah, I like me too." (smiled)
(stroked her hair) "Don't give up, okay? I always believe that you're gonna be a great writer someday."
"Aw, that's sweet. Thank you."
"Thank you to you too."
"What? I didn't do anything."
"Before you told me about your deepest dream, I haven't know what mine is yet."
"You didn't know your deepest dream?"
"But now I know. Thanks to you." (smiled)
"So, what is your deepest dream?"
(thinking) "..to be your first reader and your biggest fan."
Sometimes we just need someone to talk to late at night.
Talking about the most random and the silliest things.
Someone who can make you still awake until 3 in the morning.
