Edward Christopher Sheeran

I love Edward Christopher Sheeran, or simply Ed Sheeran. He is a young and talented musician from England. He is a ginger genius. Yes,I'm not gonna lie because he has this adorable and unique red hair and he  also is a genius in making songs. He really is!

This is Ed

First time I heard his song is when MTV aired his first music video from his album "+", goes with the title The A Team. I was in my room when suddenly the melody caught my attention, made me ran to the living room just to find out who sang the song. Guess what? I'm thrilled. It was like a unique song and unusual music video combined as one.
The A Team  is a song that tells a story about a homeless girl who also a drug addict. She tried to sell newspaper and also be a prostitute just so she could buy drugs for herself. I like the way Ed  uses the word "angel"  that actually refer to the girl as the main character in this video. He was like giving a new meaning to the word "angel" itself.
In a video interview with Billboard, Ed explained the song's title. "A drug like crack cocaine is called a 'class A' drug. That's in the same category as heroin. Instead of making it clear and just saying what the problem was, I'd say, 'She's in the 'class A' team.' It was kind of my way of covering up (a person's addiction), I guess, making it a bit more subtle."
See? Instead of trying to come up with clear explanation of his song, Ed tries to cover it up and make it more subtle. I mean... he was like to hide the meaning of The A Team itself and somehow it is attractive.
...and I feel like I fell for the first sight <3 br="" nbsp="">

His second video is You Need Me, I Don't Need You. I'm not gonna lie that I don't really know well enough about this song but, what makes this video interesting is the way it wrapped with sign language. Yes, right! This song is a rap song which is I really am having a hard time to follow Ed rapping in this song. Though, I still love him :)
This video features Matthew Morgan who gives the sign towards this songs. FYI, both Morgan's parents are deaf but he is not. So this video is like a dedication for deaf people so that they also could enjoy Ed's music too. He is so generous, isn't he?

Lego House becoming his third single. This is a kind of video where I react like a fangirl. Haha ~
Well, because it features Rupert Grint. Gosh! He is like my favorite actor in Harry Potter the movie. How can I not like him. He seems funny and well, redhead always attracting :D
In this video, Grint is a very maniac fan of Ed, he is more like obsessed with Ed. Grint is more like a creepy fans and really REALLY annoying but his acting is really REALLY stunning. He is so perfect in this video.
I mean... I am a girl who is kind of obsessed with a redhead then this video shows 2 adorable redhead and... what do you think I am supposed to do? Sit quietly and enjoy the video while actually I could  go fangirling over these 2 redheads?

I'm not a big fan of cat, but this video could be an exception :)
It's  Drunk, ladies and gentlemen! The fourth video from  Ed and it's adorable, funny, and cute. Period.

...and we get to his most emotional song and video, well at least for me.
This song named Small Bump. At first, I thought this song is like any love song that tells a story about a bump in every relationship. So, I never really paying attention to the lyric just the refrain keeps playing on my head. Until, I decided to figure out what this song is really about. Then, I found out a dramatic truth.
This song is about miscarriage. Yeah, small bump is the mother's belly and she got miscarriage in the fourth month.
One of the line of the lyrics that almost made me burst into tears is the last part.

'Cause you were just a small bump unborn for four months then torn from life.
Maybe you were needed up there but we're still unaware as why.

It's sad, this song is really get me. Well, it might be another story to tell in this blog when I'm ready :')
Otherwise, Mr. Ed makes me adore him more. He stole my heart, and he brings it with him. Ha ha ha

The last video (so far) from his "+" album is Give Me Love.
It's another masterpiece from him. The opening of this song is really sophisticated, at least for me haha. It sounds like we have to be ready and to prepare ourselves because this ginger head is going to take us to the far far away land.
The video, it is epic. Just 1 word, epic. I like the way it delivers the meaning. I'm not going to be critical in this video because it such a brave and magnificent video to represent "cupid" who is also trying to find love in her own life. Until finally, she found her love when she died.
Once again, I lost my words and this video just makes me speechless. I think you have to watch by yourself and I will let you define you own opinion.

I wonder what Ed would say towards these 6 videos. Maybe, it could be like this
Ed: I know! I'll do a music video for a drug addict prostitute because they're people too and deserve recognition!

Ed: I know! I'll use another ginger haired man who looks like me because I'm hilarious!

Ed: I know! I'll do a music video of me sitting in a hospital and it will be the most emotional thing you'll ever see!

Ed: I know! I'll do a music video in sign language so deaf people can enjoy music too!

Ed: I know! I'll do a music video with a talking cat because I'm f*cking original!

Ed: I know! I'll do a music video where it has same sex, different sex, and interracial love so it covers everyone.

Is that all?
Nope.
There is also a Lego version of Lego House music video and it really a must watch. It's cute and funny and flawless :)

I love Ed Sheeran. Not just from his recent album but I also downloaded all his previous songs and it's all stunning. Like Little Bird, Miss You, Kiss Me, Cold Coffee and many more. I also like the song from his "+" album, Autumn Leaves. It is like a funeral song but it wants to show that we have to let go of something that we have, someday, because we will gonna lose everything in this world.
Actually, his songs are really inspires me. Ed is like trying to see any kind of things that happened in his lives from different persepectives. Sometimes, you have to be a sofa, a leave, a bird, a cat or even a coffee to know that everything has own meaning, and why you should be here, not there.

I'm sorry.
I'm mumbling. Maybe it's because I start to live in my own mind and I try to relive it. So maybe this is it, this is where it ends.
I'm so emotional right now.
I'm sorry...
Ooh how I miss you
My symphony played the song that carried you out
Ooh how I miss you
And I, I miss you and I wish you'd stay

Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you?
Float down
Like autumn leaves
Hush now
Close your eyes before the sleep
And you're miles away
And yesterday you were here with me

...and goodnight.
